Hale Valley Wine

Hale Valley Vineyard, local Buckinghamshire vineyard wanted an update to their wine labels for their 2014 Sparkling Brut and their 2015 still white wine.

Their aesthetic so far had centered around the dipped Chilterns valley itself and the hot air balloons that appeared over the valley once the vineyard was built. This is a concept we knew we wanted to keep and develop.

Initially, I drew a wide range of hot air balloon sketches before taking them into Illustrator. I adjusted, tweaked and refined them before testing them against different layouts.
